Travel Packing Tips

B.jpegSo, you've decided to go on vacation, awesome! Well, nothing will get your trip off on the wrong foot than the stress of packing.

Remember, you'll be hauling your luggage in and out of your car, through the airport, on and off the airplane, on and off the bus, we've all been there - so here are a few tips so you will thoroughly enjoy your vacation - without throwing your back out.

The number one rule in packing for a trip, unless you have hired several football players to carry your gear for you, is to pack lightly.

The best way to make this happen is to make a list!

Write down what you are going to be doing each day of your trip. Then pick out your clothes, and spread everything you'll need on a bed, then carefully put back at least half the clothes you've assembled. Less is usually enough - heavy items such as shoes (wrapped in a plastic bag), belts etc., at the bottom, pants and jackets - then shirts.

Always bring travel-sized toiletries along with you. Mini toothpaste, mini toothbrush, etc. They're so convenient and will save space for your souvenirs on your return trip!

One of the most important tips would be to use a carry-on bag.

One idea that will come in handy for you would be to pack a 22" bag (a convertible backpack). It fits in the overhead bin, is light enough so it is easily lifted, and it rolls.

So, whether you are going on a business trip, or you are going on a beach vacation to the BEST WESTERN Huntington Beach Inn, packing shouldn't be stressful. Make sure to use these packing tips and your trip will be smooth sailing for the beginning.
